Wikipedia: Icons - A good and growing list.
Buuf - Stunning icons. Use the download link to get them.
bittbox.com - Some nice glass buttons.
Olde style Clipart - Pics that might be of interest. Lots of woodcuts. Free Clipart.
Vector Graphics - A lot of what seem to be free vector graphics. Seems better than the tired old clipart collections.
ndesign-studio.com - Some nice free vector graphics. Also some bitmaps.
Apple.com - Here is a very nice selection of free icons and screensavers.
